Beginner Course from ages 10 to 80. Learning the basics of footwork, weapon handling and point control with a Foil.
Intermediate class lessons focused on skills enhancement for different attacks and defensive parries.
Private Tuition lessons for further specific skills enhancement and transition to Epee and Sabre.
Penrith Academy of Fencing offers a unique opportunity to host special occasions, parties, corporate and social events with an exciting fencing experience. The 90-minute package includes professional instruction, full equipment, and competitive matches, giving participants a complete introduction to the sport.
Contact the club to inquire about available dates and times. Pricing depends on the number of participants, with a minimum of two people required.
Equipment
Beginner fencers are required to wear a long sleeve top, track suit pants and gym shoes while learning the sport. The fencing club supplies all other fencing equipment which is included in the course fees.
Competition fencers can hire all clothing and equipment for a nominal fee. All weapons and clothing for national competitions is available for hire.
